Computer Based Application Systems (DOSPO)

Project B/1 developed DOSPO, an application allowing extensive documentation and therapy planing in pediatric oncology. DOSPO has been implemented in hospitals participating in clinical studys. It supports doctors and reserach facilities with their study related documentation work and communication. DOSPO aditionally allows meta analysis of the findings on the basis of primary data according to given criteria.

The subprojects other activities include: the establishment of a computerized index of patient characteristics in pediatric oncology, the standardization of diagnostic documentation, the course of disease, and its long-term effects, as well as the development of a generator for study specific modules.
