Kostmann syndrome
syn. infantile agranulocytosis
a congenital disorder of bone marrow function associated with acute, life-threatening infections and an increased risk of developing myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) or acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Kostmann syndrome is therefore also referred to as one of the cancer predisposition syndromes (KPS).
